Today’s thread is brought to you by the numbers 3, 4 and 15.
Post Malone’s “Hollywood Bleeding” returns to the top of the BB200 for a fifth non-consecutive week at the top. This is the first time in a year that any album has spent that many weeks at the top. The album was released on September 21st. Miranda Lambert who got her start on Nashville Star debuts at number 5 with “Wildcard” (53K equivalent albums). She has the lone debut in the top 10.
Lewis Capaldi also returns to the top of a major Billboard chart – his “Someone You Loved” is back at number one on the Hot 100 (101M AI, 13K sales, 24M streams). “Señorita” from Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes is up one spot to number 3. The Billboard article also discusses how Maroon 5 (helmed by former Voice perma-coach, Adam Levine) has its 15th top 10 song in 15 years. Pretty good longevity for a group.
