During the live After the Final Rose episode, her new fiancé had a surprise for her. He revealed that her wish for the next step in her TV career was coming true. “I’m so happy to tell you that you’re going to be on Dancing with the Stars!”
Charity will join Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix as the second officially revealed cast member for Dancing with the Stars season 32. Good Morning America will reveal the full list of celebrity cast members along with their pro-dance partners on Wednesday, September 13.
DWTS still waiting on a premiere date
Dancing with the Stars returns to ABC after one year streaming on Disney+ only. It’s a change that might well be attributed to the writers and actors strike, which has left networks and streamers scrambling to fill their schedules with non scripted content.
While ABC continues to shuffle the schedule, they have yet to reveal a premiere date for Dancing with the Stars, which is set to air in the fall.
Alfonso Ribeiro and newbie Julianne Hough are set to host. Julianne takes over for three season host Tyra Banks who parted ways with the show earlier this year. It’s Alfonso’s second season at the helm. When Alfonso hosted with Tyra, he interviewed the contestants in the sky box, while Tyra stood on the floor with the contestants in front of the judges as they waited for their scores. Julianne will now take over skybox duties while Alfonso will serve as the main host.
Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough (Julianne’s brother) and Bruno Tonioli will all return for the new season. Former head judge Len Goodman passed away in April after a battle with bone cancer. He officially retired at the end of season 31.
