Dancing with the Stars revealed the 15 pro dancers who will take center stage for the show’s 30th season. There are 8 female pros and 7 male pros. The extra female dancer will partner with celebrity JoJo Siwa for the FIRST EVER same sex partnership in Dancing with the Stars history. Well, in the United States anyway. ABC revealed two celebrity dancers on GMA earlier this week: JoJo and Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee.
And speaking of JoJo Siwa, apparently the Dance Moms star let slip in an interview with E! News that returning champion Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy is her partner.
There are more spoilers: The Talk co-host, Amanda Kloots will dance with Alan Bersten, Lori Laughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade will partner with Val Chmerkovskiy, Bachelor Matt James is dancing, and Real Wives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is also a member of the cast. ABC will officially unveil the entire cast on GMA Wednesday September 8. But more than likely the full cast will be spoiled before next Wednesday.
Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold are back after taking a season off to have babies. Because Witney is a devout Mormon, I thought maybe she would retire after starting a family. It’s good to see her back.
Notably absent from the cast is Keo Motsepe who told US Magazine: “While it’s disappointing to not be back for season 30, I’ve been honored to be on the last nine seasons of the show and look forward to returning in the future. There’s a great group this season and I wish all the dancers and the show the best of luck!”
Also, some speculate the Peta Murgatroyd is out because she is an anti-vaxxer, and ABC might be requiring cast members to vax up.
