Daughtry has been added to the line -up of the Country Music Awards.
Now, before you go all WTF, consider that country music artist, Vince Gill, made a guest appearance on Daughtry’s lastest album, Leave this Town to sing harmonies on “Tennesee Line”
Gill will join Chris Daughtry and his band on stage at the CMA’s to perform the country-flavored tune.
Carrie Underwood will be on double-duty that night–co-hosting the show with Brad Paisley, as well as performing a tune from her album, Play On, set to be released November 3. Carrie is also up for two awards. Carrie was nominated in the Female Vocalist category, and her duet with with Randy Travis, ‘I Told You So’ , was nominated for Musical Event of the year.
The CMA Awards will air on ABC, November 11.
