This will be both Bareilles’ and Groban’s first time hosting the show. American Idol’ Alum Diana DeGarmo & Ace Young Join Planned Off-Broadway Musical – Exclusive: Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young, former American Idol contestants and real-life couple, have signed on to star in Hit Her With The Skates, the musical that premiered at New Jersey’s Hamilton Stage last season and is eying an Off Broadway production for the fall. The logline: Set in 1994, Hit Her With The Skates follows pop star Jacqueline Miller as she headlines her first national tour and returns to her hometown to kick off the gala re-opening of her beloved Windy City Skates.
