DWTS Season 31: New Promo with Fan Favorite Pros (Video)

Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances is a look back on the 20 most memorable dances of thirty seasons of Dancing with the Stars’ chosen by the Pro-Dancers. Hosted by Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Cheryl Burke, and Brandon Armstrong, we’ll see them countdown to their most unforgettable performance – highlighting everything from the best Mirrorball-winning performances over the years, to iconic opening numbers, Emmy-winning dances, and unforgettable celebrity mishaps. It all leads up to season 31 premiering live only on Disney+ on Monday September 19.

Check out a new short promoting the new season. It appears to feature clips from the Pros’ special, including JoJo Siwa, James VanderBeek, Bindi Irwin and more sharing emotional memories from their time competing on the series.

Dancing with the Stars moves to Disney+ streaming only

Disney renewed Dancing with the Stars for two seasons with the caveat that both 31 and 32 will be streaming only on Disney+. It will continue to air live, and allow viewers to vote for the winner. Additionally, the show will air with no commercial interruptions, which could mean longer running times for each episode.

Tyra Banks will return to Dancing with the Stars as host and an executive producer of the show. However, she will be sharing hosting duties with former DWTS winner and America’s Funniest Home Videos host, Alfonso Ribeiro. Conrad Green, who executive produced DWTS in its early years will replace departing EP Andrew Llinares.

A recent promo appears to confirm that reining winner Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, Witney Carson, and Brandon Armstrong will return as pros. Good Morning America will unveil the celebrity cast on September 8.

Judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough will resume their seats on the judges panel.

Dancing with the Stars season 31 will premiere on Monday September 19 at 8 ET/5 PT pm, only streaming on the Disney+ platform.
