Dancing with the Stars announces 2024 tour!
Season 32 has not even begun yet, and Dancing with the Stars is already announcing the return of the show’s LIVE tour for 2024.
Emma Slater, who will serve as co-host on the road, made the announcement with the help of fellow DWTS pro Britt Stewart in a cute clip that has Britt covered in glitter by the end. Emma couldn’t wait to announce the big news, even if it meant trancing out and talking into a hairbrush in the middle of the dancers’ “nice coffee.” Watch the clip below.
“See the ballroom brought to life in this brand-new production featuring your favorite Dancing with the Stars pros, PLUS special guest stars!” the live tour’s official site reads. “With dazzling routines in every style, jaw-dropping talent, and non-stop entertainment, it’s sure to be an unforgettable night full of all the magic of the TV show and more!”
No dates have been announced yet, though Emma revealed in the clip that the tour will kick off in January 2024. However, the the website has posted a list of cities where the tour will stop.
The live tour will likely feature some pros and celebs from Dancing with the Stars season 32, which will air this fall on ABC and Disney+, and will stream the next day on Hulu.
Recently, on Good Morning America Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, with a little help from judge Derek Hough, announced that she will compete for the Mirrorball Trophy on season 32. The full cast will be revealed on GMA September 13, but will probably leak by then!
Dancing with the Stars returns to ABC after streaming exclusively on Disney+
Dancing With the Stars will air Season 32 on ABC in the fall, moving back to its original network after a year of exclusively streaming on Disney+. However, the show will continuing airing live on Disney+ for the fans who want to follow it on the streamer.
Former pro dancer Julianne Hough has joined the season as Alfonso Ribeiro’s co-host as the controversial Tyra Banks bows out after three seasons. The judges will be Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. In an emotional emotional announcement at the end of season 31 in November 2022, former head judge Len Goodman announced that Season 31 would be his last. Sadly the legendary judge and ballroom dancer died in April.
