X Factor season 2 alums, Fifth Harmony, are in the midst of promoting their debut album, Reflection, which dropped this past Tuesday. On February 2, the quintet performed for 500 fans at an MTV sponsored party.

“We love incorporating them in everything we do,” Normani said of the fans. “We’ve seen a lot of people from the beginning, but it’s nice to see that our fan base is growing.”

The group dropped by the CBS daytime talker, The Talk on Thursday (2/5) for a chat and to sing their current single, “Sledgehammer.” Sadly, Lauren Jauregui, was absent due to a family emergency.

In the interview, the girls discuss the release of their debut album, and how Mariah Carey tweeted about them. Dinah Jane says, “Mariah Carey tweeted about our album and she talked about one of our songs, “Like Mariah.” It was really, really cool that someone…who’s our idol actually knows we exist!”
