Nate Ruess from the alternative rock band, Fun., will be joining The Voice 8 as an adviser. He’ll help coaches Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine, mentor the remaining contestants as they get ready to do battle in the Knockout round, which begins Monday, March 23.
Previous The Voice advisers have included Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Miranda Lambert and Michael Buble. Taylor Swift most recently did the honors for the coaches last fall.
Tonight, The Battles continue, with advisers Meghan Trainor (Team Blake), Nick Jonas (Team Christina), Ellie Goulding (Team Adam) and Lionel Richie (Team Pharrell) getting a crop of singers ready to face off.
