Gabby Barrett Performs “I Hope,” Wins Breakthrough Video 2020 at CMT Music Awards
It was a big night last night (Oct 21) for singing show alums on the 2020 CMT Music Awards. For instance, American Idol 16 alum Gabby Barrett won Breakthrough Artist of the Year for her smash hit “I Hope.” Making the honor even more exciting, superstar and former Breakthrough Artist winner Taylor Swift presented! Additionally, the American Idol season 16 singer and her husband and fellow alum Cade Foehner, performed “I Hope” on one of several outdoor stages in and around Nashville.
It was a big night for Gabby and Cade, who are also expecting their first child early next year. “I Hope” has reached No. 1 on both country and pop charts.
