Glee stars, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet dropped by the Ellen Degeneres show to share their experiences during the last days on set.

There were tears. EVERYONE cried during the last number filmed, which had Matt Morrison singing in front of the New Directions in the choir room. To get wring the maximum amount of emotion out of the cast, the director put the crew in front of them. At that point, the crying became SO bad, they had to cut.

Favorite guest stars, favorite moments, and items that were taken from set by cast members as souvenirs were also topics that came up during the discussion. When Chris mentioned that Ryan Murphy wanted him to play Frank-n-Furter in the Rocky Horror episode, and he insisted on Riff Raff instead, Jenna said that she never felt she got a choice to say no, to anything. And she got asked to do some horrible things, like falling into an ice-cold fountain. The whole group agreed that she was always taking one for the team.

The end of Glee also brings up a fresh wound–the loss of castmate Cory Montieth to a drug overdose in 2013. Chord Overstreet assures fans there will be a moment in the last episode for Corey, and that, “obviously, when we wrapped, we all took a moment.” Chris added, “He was there, though. We could feel him.”

Two more segments segments featured the cast playing a hilarious versions of “Cards Against Humanity” and a game that tested how well they knew each other.
