Well…so much for the no “stunt casting” edict Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy made over the summer! Ricky Martin has been cast as “the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio.”
(So, will Ricky and Will Schuester (Matt Morrison) have some sort of Spanish-off?)
Ricky Martin’s instructor will also be musically inclined, headlining TWO big musical numbers in the episode, which is slated to air in late January.
DO. NOT. WANT.
I watch Glee for the core cast. Every time one of these guest stars appear, they take the focus off the Glee club. UGH.
But I suppose with the ratings down from last year, Ryan Murphy will resort not only to stunt casting, but more crappy tribute episodes in an effort to boost ratings. To be honest, I think that ship has sailed. Glee had it’s super hot moment, now he should concentrate on making Glee the best show it can be. But, what do I know.
In other Glee news, check out these spoilers for episode 10. Sam (Chord Overstreet) in an effort to win back Mercedes (Amber Riley) will join the synchronized swimming team. Ohhhh Kayyyy. There’s a casting call out for various parts, including a coach, and swim team members.
