A FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT GETS LUCKY ON AN ALL-NEW “GLEE” TUESDAY, NOV 1, ON FOX

A new foreign exchange student, Rory Flanagan (guest star Damian McGinty), enrolls at McKinley and crashes with Brittany S. Pierce who thinks he’s a leprechaun. Meanwhile, Mercedes (Amber Riley) attempts to recruit new members to join Shelby Corcoran’s (guest star Idina Menzel) newly formed Glee club and Sue’s congressional campaign heats up on the “Pot of Gold” episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, Nov. 1 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Glee Project’s Damian McGinty is introduced as Irish foreign exchange student, Rory. He moves in with Brittany’s family. Santana is not happy. HERE
“Rory is living with Brittany, who thinks he is her own personal leprechaun only she can see, “ says Damian.
Kurt doesn’t take to the new sophomore like the other members of New Directions do. “He does a little falsetto in his first song, and Kurt did not like that because Kurt’s the soprano of the group and doesn’t want that taken from him, ” says Chris Colfer.

TV GUIDE Spoilers – Interview with Damian McGinty

Santana continues to dislike Rory, even through Episode 7 (which the cast is wrapping up now) “In every last one of our scenes, she’s been ripping me to shreds, ” says Damian.
On his relationship with Brittany: “They have a really funny, really sweet partnership. He also has a lot of hilarious one-liners that are a result of being really innocent — the difference is Rory realizes when he says something stupid.”
Rory’s a big fan of Finchel’s smooching video from Nationals. “It’s as if Rory has been watching Glee for the last two seasons and is a huge fan of all these people, and especially of Finn..They’ve got a big brother-little brother relationship going on; it’s really cute.”
Kurt won’t be a fan, not after Rory shows off his considerable falsetto. We’ll hear him hit plenty of higher-than-high notes.
Rory will be trying to get involved on the sports side, too. “I’m gonna play some sports this season, yeah. Whether or not Rory is any good is a different matter altogether, but he really wants to try.”
