Glee Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 2 “I Am Unicorn” Synopsis

More UNVERIFIABLE Glee spoilers for the premiere episode, “The Purple Piano Project” for your amusement HERE (these are interesting and most likely to be true, imo) and HERE.

This Glee Tumblr typically has reliable spoilers, so I tend to believe. Here’s what’s reportedly the official  synopsis of Glee 3×02, titled “I Am Unicorn”:

Much to his dismay, Will discovers that (thanks to a private donation) former Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran has been hired to direct a second show-choir group at McKinley; while both Will and Shelby seem good natured about their impending competition, several of the students are less than thrilled about her return to Lima. Brittany manages Kurt’s campaign for class President, but he worries that her strategy may be too one-dimensional; and auditions for the school’s production of West Side Story begin with Artie, Emma, and Coach Beiste serving as the trio of directors. Trying to mend fences, Shelby gives her biological daughter Rachel some sound career advice. Meanwhile, auditions for the male lead in the play heat up, threatening to drive a wedge between Kurt and Blaine.

TWO show choirs at McKinley when the school can barely support one? Hm. Ok.  Would that private donation be from the parents of new character, Sugar, who is supposedly from a wealthy family?

And Kurt running for Class President with Brittany as his manager has possibilities for both comic and poignant moments.  On one hand, Kurt + Brittany should be hilarious, and on the other, Kurt is bound to run up against the homophobia at McKinley (the same folks who wrote him in as prom queen as a joke) as he campaigns.

Kurt and Blaine competing for the role of Tony in West Side Story? REALLY?

If true, this synopsis answers questions raised by this Chris interview, and TV Lines spoilers (except that Ausiello reports that it’s Brittany who is running for class president, so idk).  Also,   this 3×02 song spoiler post from tumblr Shelby and Rachel sing “Somewhere” and Kurt auditions (presumably for the musical) with “I’m the Greatest Star” from Funny Girl.
