The gang at Glee have been hard at work, shooting the musical comedy’s 100th episode. The two-parter will bring together old and new cast members in what promises to be a huge celebration and a goodbye. Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) finally manages to destroy the Glee club. The kids and a few old friends are on hand to say goodbye. The soundtrack will consist of favorite songs, chosen in a FOX sponsored poll, “remixed” by the cast.
Familiar faces that will be returning are Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr. and Mark Salling. Heather Morris will make her first Glee appearance since giving birth to her first child in October. Dianna Agron returns, having been absent since last season’s Valentine’s episode.
Also joining the kids are special guest stars, Kristin Chenoweth and Gwyneth Paltrow reprising their roles as April Rhodes and Holly Holliday, respectively. Chase Crawford from Gossip Girl will play Quinn’s douchebag Yalie boyfriend.
A few plot notes: Recent instagrams of Lord Tubbington on set and a vat of melted cheese can only mean the return of Brittany’s talk show, “Fondue for Two.” I’m sure she has many exciting updates from the world of MIT, where we last left her. Speaking of which: Naya Rivera tweets that she filmed a “Brittana shocker” with Heather. What could it be?
At the conclusion of the two part episode, airing March 18 and 25, the Glee storyline will shift entirely to New York City for at least the rest of the season.
