Glee spoilers for the episode “Trio” airing March 4!

Watch for updates to this post!

ETA: Spoilers via WishYouWould

  • Dani (Demi Lovato) was barely in it. She and Santana exchange one line. Santana isn’t happy with Dani, but there’s no official break up. Also, Dani is not written off the show at this point.
  • The newbies have very little to do.
  • Rachel and Santana don’t reconcile. Rachel, who is living with Elliott, does not move back into the loft.
  • Sam and Tina kiss, but they just try it out.  They realize it’s a one time thing. The kiss freaks Blaine out. He doesn’t want to be made into the third wheel.
  • By the end of the episode, Emma is pregnant, after receiving advice from Sue and Beiste.
  • Dani, Kurt and Elliott kick Rachel and Santana out of Pamela Lansbury.
  • Elliott is stuck in the middle between Rachel and Santana. They both act “pretty ridiculous” towards Elliott and treat him like a Kurt replacement/pawn/object. He’s really the only one framed as “good” in that conflict.
  • Song order: Jumpin Jumpin, Barracuda, Don’t You Forget About Me, Danny’s Song, Gloria, The Happening, Hold On.

ETA: After Rachel leaves the loft, she heads to Elliott’s apartment for refuge. Of course, they perform a duet!

ETA: Tina and Sam make out, and Blaine completely freaks out. (See photo below!) via TV Line

ETA: FOX Episode Summary for “Trio”

As graduation approaches, Tina, Blaine and Sam band together to hold a senior “lock-in” at school, hoping to savor their last chance at hanging out together. But their plans are thwarted when Becky joins unexpectedly. Meanwhile, in New York, Elliot (guest star Adam Lambert) is stuck in the middle between Rachel and Santana’s feud in the all-new “Trio” episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, March 4

ETA: Extended FOX Episode Summary for “Trio”

With Emma hearing her biological clock ticking, she and Will are anxious to conceive a child. When their repeated attempts – some in the least appropriate of places – fail to yield results, the pair is at their wits’ end. When Will gets some surprisingly sound advice from an unexpected source, it serves him well both in the bedroom and in the classroom. With graduation approaching, Tina is worried about losing her McKinley family after they all go their separate ways. In order to make the time they all have left together more memorable, seniors Blaine, Sam and Tina decide they need to say goodbye to their alma mater in dramatic fashion by staging a Senior Lock-In. When Principal Sue abruptly cancels the event, the trio decides to take matters into their own hands, and get more than they bargained for. Meanwhile, in New York, following the fallout between Rachel and Santana, things go from bad to worse for the pair. As neither is willing to forgive the other, their circle of friends is sucked into the fray and forced to choose sides, resulting in Kurt taking drastic measures to try and secure a peace.

CONCEPT: Graduating seniors Blaine, Tina and Sam get more than they bargained for when they try to create an epic, lasting memory of McKinley High. In NYC, the continuing diva battle between Rachel and Santana hits a tipping point, leading to big changes for them and their circle of friends. Will and Emma are anxious about being unable to conceive a child.

ETA: In an interview with MTV, Lea Michele reveals that Rachel and Elliott become “good friends”  via MTV.

Two special guest stars will be back: Adam Lambert will return for his 4th episode as the fabulous Elliot Gilbert/Starchild.  And Demi Lovato will be  back as Santana’s love interest, Dani.

Also, Jayma Mays returns as Will’s wife and McKinley guidance counselor for what TV Line calls her “penultimate episode.”  Which means, one more episode after this, and she’s gone for good (Jayma has said she’s leaving after season 5). Currently, the actress is starring in a higher rated comedy for CBS called The Millers.  Jayma told TV Line that the episode features “good stuff” for Will and Emma, whatever that means.

The song spoilers are a bit wanky this week. Immediately after GleekOutBr posted the songs for the episode, Adam’s publicist took to twitter to claim “Vision of Love” was incorrect. Things change all the time on Glee. The spoilers promise corrected info by next week.

In any case, Adam performs in THREE songs.  Lea and Adam duetting should be an awesome treat. Considering the lyrics of “Danny’s Song” I wonder if Emma is pregnant? Hm. More will be revealed I’m sure! The episode airs on Tuesday March 4, one week after the winter premiere, “Frenemies.”

UPDATE: “Barracuda” by Heart is the song Elliott and Rachel are singing. Santana is part of the performance too.

Song Spoilers – Trio – 5×10 (GleekoutBr)

  • The Happening by the Supremes – sung by Kurt, Dani and Elliott
  • Danny’s Song by Loggins and Messina – sung by Will & Emma
  • Jumpin’ Jumpin’ by Destiny’s Child – Sung by Tina, Sam and Blaine
  • Vision Of Love by Mariah Carey – Sung by Rachel and Elliott
  • Barracuda by Heart – Sung by Rachel and Elliott
  • Gloria, by Laura Branigan – Sung by Rachel, Elliott and Santana
  • Hold On by Wilson Phillips sung by Tina, Artie, Blaine, Sam, Rachel, Santana, Kurt, Dani & Elliott
  • Don’t You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds sung by Tina, Sam and Blaine

*There is a Rachel/Elliott duet. Lea tweeted about rehearsing it with Adam. But according to his publicist, the song is incorrect. GleekOutBr reported the original spoiler and says the song must have been changed (This group has super inside sources and are never wrong.) Songs change all the time. They promise to reveal the correct song next week.

NEW Photo gallery includes photos of Sam and Blaine trying on their graduation gowns. In one photo, they are comforting a crying Tina (who is dressed in street clothes).  The gang are generally upset about their impending graduation.  Rachel and Santana watch a performance together, but things are obviously still strained between them.  Tina and Sam make out, and Blaine totally freaks out.
