Glee star, Dianna Agron, plays the wife of a cheating husband (Chris Messina of Argo, Mindy Project) in Sam Smith’s new “I’m Not the Only One” music video.
Dianna’s character is the epitome of the put together 50’s housewife who wears on one face for her husband and the public, and quite the other when she’s alone in her huge house. Shots of the husband having sexy times with his mistress are cut with scenes of the wife crying, drinking and burning her spouse’s clothes. But of course, she gets it all together in time to greet hubby at the door with a perfect smile. It’s quite heartbreaking, really.
There are shots of Sam too, performing the soulful, emotional, gospel-tinged tune.
