It was somehow inevitable that American Idol season 10 buddies, Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams would cover Meghan Trainor’s hit “All About That Bass.”
It went down at Room 5 in Los Angeles last night (10/28), where Haley and Dancing With the Stars pro, Mark Ballas were featured performers. Casey dropped by to sit in with Haley on and profess their LOVE FOR THAT BASS!
Haley gives the song a jazzy, flirty interpretation, while Casey works his magic with the upright. A super fun performance!
Haley has a lot to celebrate these days, as she just renewed and expanded her contract with Ole publishing. An EP of new music is on the horizon! Casey has been playing gigs across the country, and also promoting his latest project. He co-stars in a movie, Offer & Compromise, with Tom Cavanaugh (Flash) and Frances Fisher (Resurrection) which is in the midst of a crowdfunding campaign.
