There’s a rumor on twitter that Hall and Oats, Chicago and the Bee Gees will be performing on the finale.
Of course, I went on a little search to find out the source of the rumors (these things always tend to be twitter related) and it turns out that Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick spilled the beans last night while chatting up some fans at the Annual Wine Festival Dinner for Villa San Juliette Wine in Paso Robles, CA.
Villa San Juliette is the winery that Nigel and Ken Warwick own.
Supposedly, Ken said they were appealing to baby boomers and that he knows the Idol audience is cougars. Lulz.
I’m a baby boomer, and I think that lineup SUCKS. Ugh.
As an aside, Matt Giraud was the featured performer, and apparently he was AWESOME.
