Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood triumph over ‘tricky’ ACM rehearsal – Blue smoke billows from the back of the stage as Keith Urban soulfully runs through his twice-nominated “Blue Ain’t Your Color” during rehearsals for the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. The song seamlessly flows into “The Fighter,” Urban’s duet with Carrie Underwood. Underwood joins him on stage and within seconds the two are laughing about what they plan to wear during the Sunday awards show.

Normani Kordei’s ‘DWTS’ Blog: Inside My Insane Schedule & Rehearsals With Val In Japan – Yesterday I I saw the big Buddha here in Hong Kong. Val [Chmerkovskiy] and I had the opportunity to unwind and reflect and just talk a a little bit. So it was definitely memorable, it’s an experience for the books. Preparing here in Japan has been a different experience — one that I’ll definitely remember. For instance, in Hong Kong at the Mariott Hotel, there wasn’t even a ballroom that we could rehearse in. We had to literally rehearse in a meeting room which had carpet, so I couldn’t even wear the proper shoes that I’ll be wearing for my actual performance… so I’ll have to adjust on Monday.
