Reggie Yates, Adam Lambert and Lorraine Kelly win at Attitude Pride Awards – Presenter Reggie Yates was honoured for his BBC Three documentary Extreme Russia at the Attitude Pride Awards.
Reggie collected the Ally gong at London’s Banqueting House where celebrities and VIPs gathered for the annual awards. Newsnight presenter Evan Davis was named man of the year and Cyril Nri picked up the actor of the year award. Fashion designer Alexander McQueen was also recognised posthumously with Attitude’s Legend Award – collected by his sister Jacqueline. Others honoured on the night included Adam Lambert who scooped the Music Award and who also performed at the event. One person who did miss out on the action was One Direction’s Liam Payne, although he did win the sexiest man of the year award. – Read more at Yahoo.uk

‘American Idol’ winner Taylor-made for Taft’s Oilstock – Hicks is currently working on his fourth studio album, due out in the spring of 2016. Ryan Seacrest to headline UGA’s spring commencement ceremony, receive honorary degree – When Ryan Seacrest takes the stage for the University of Georgia’s spring Commencement ceremony on May 13 in Sanford Stadium, he will have two tasks — inspire a new class of UGA alumni and receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the university he attended as a freshman. The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved Seacrest’s honorary degree during its Wednesday meeting.
