From ‘American Idol’ to ‘The Voice,’ Jeremy Rosado reps Tampa Bay – I never thought in my life that I would be doing The Voice after being able to make that as far as I did on Idol. I’m so thankful to the network and to Kelly for believing in me enough to give me a shot. I was definitely a kid and I had a lot of immaturity vocally back then. I was 19. I’m 29 now. So the experience being on the road for years, doing shows, being a worship leader singing every weekend, putting out records — all these things have definitely changed who I am. I was telling my mom this morning I’ve been flooded with comments. People are like, ‘Oh my god, you’re like a totally different singer than when you were on Idol.’ That’s that’s the goal, though. – Read more at Tampa Bay Times

A street performer was singing a John Legend song, and he just happened to be watching – When you’re competing on NBC’s The Voice and cover songs the judges have sang, it’s one thing. But what happens when you’re covering the songs of John Legend and he comes to see you play? That’s what happened to street musician Radha Ro, who got the surprise of her life during a recent performance at Boston’s Faneuil Hall. Rao, who regularly sings a cover of Legend’s hit single “All of Me” when she performs, was caught off guard on Tuesday during one of her sets when Legend decided to stop by. The singer posted an Instagram video capturing the moment when the 12-time Grammy winner and Voice judge, wearing a tan trench coat, gave his seal of approval with a round of applause.
