Ryan Seacrest honored with the National Association of Broadcasters’ Distinguished Service Award – ABC’s own Ryan Seacrest was honored Wednesday night with the National Association of Broadcasters’ Distinguished Service Award. The NAB Marconi Awards show took place at the Javits Center in New York City where Seacrest was joined by members of the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” and WABC family. CMT Announces Next Women of Country Showcase Honoring Loretta Lynn – CMT’s Next Women of Country are gearing up for their final showcase of the year – and it’s in honor of country music icon Loretta Lynn. CMT, in partnership with City Winery Nashville, announced “CMT Next Women of Country: Celebrating the Songs of Loretta Lynn,” presented by “CMT Night Out Nashville and Change The Conversation,” and each female artist will sing a song from Lynn’s beloved catalog. The show is set for 7:30pm CT Tuesday, Nov. 8, at City Winery in Nashville. CMT’s Leslie Fram and “The Voice” alum Wendy Moten will co-host the third CMT Night Out Nashville showcase that will also feature in-the-round performances from Bowen + Young, Brooke Eden, Caylee Hammack, Erin Enderlin, Miko Marks, Sacha, Stephanie Quayle and Tiera Kennedy. The Voice 21 Winners Girl Named Tom Make their Grand Ole Opry Debut

Girl Named Tom have been touring non-stop since they won The Voice last year. American Idol season seven winner David Cook continues to rock with a purpose – “How I write each song varies every time…sometimes it’s a melody that pops into my head and it’s like ‘okay what lyrics fit that melody,’” he said. “Sometimes it’s a musical idea and I’ll go down into my studio and record kind of a basic music bed of drums, bass guitar, piano, etc and figure out the melody from there. The Voice 2022: Easley’s Ansley Burns reflects on experience working with Blake Shelton – “He (Shelton) really taught me to break out of my shell and to perform more,” Burns said. “Even when I’m taking risks, to be confident with it. He really taught me how to gain control of my lower notes when I sing in lower keys. I definitely took his advice and have been using it now.” She said The Voice and America’s Got Talent are very different shows. “Both shows have been different,” Burns said. “On America’s Got Talent, there were a ton of different talents. With The Voice, it’s one art form. I really enjoyed being on The Voice, it was a great experience and a great opportunity. He [Shelton] was amazing.
