Carrie Underwood’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ Opening Gets a High-Tech Upgrade – NBC Sports shot a new opening for its football broadcast — the nation’s most-watched regular TV series — that puts singer Carrie Underwood at a virtual football tailgate while performing “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night.” The shoot was conducted at an Industrial Light & Magic sound stage using virtual technology recently utilized in “The Mandalorian.” The singer has opened the program with various segments since 2013. Classic cars cruise into Buchanan for ‘American Idol’ star’s music video shoot – More than 100 classic cars pulled into Buchanan’s Fisher Field Sunday night to appear in “American Idol” star Margie Mays’ latest music video. The cars were requested for a drive-in theater date scene for the video of Mays’ upcoming single, “Take It Back.” Mays — a singer, songwriter and actress who appeared on seasons two and three of “American Idol” on ABC — took time before the shoot to meet and take photos with the participants.
