Heidi Klum gashed her leg after falling on the AGT: Fantasy League Set. See the clip!
The new America’s Got Talent spinoff, AGT: Fantasy League is filming right now in Los Angeles (at the RED studios, where American Idol taped earlier this year). Over the weekend, Howie Mandel posted a video of the aftermath of a Heidi Klum mishap. She slipped and fell, catching a nasty gash on her leg. She also hurt her foot. “I lost half of my toe nail!” Heidi cried. Apparently, she also scraped her elbow.
“Heidi Klum just fell,” Howie narrates the video. Mel B. chimes in “There’s blood everywhere!” Heidi looks a little shell shocked as medics attend to her wound. Howie instructs Heidi to “tell them your ok.” She assures her fans, “I’m OK!” adding, “I’m glad nobody saw this!” Because taking a spill on camera is embarrassing and inevitably winds up all over the internet. Simon Cowell, for his part, keeps a safe distance from the table.
“People think judging is easy,” says Howie. “This is amazing!” Mel. B. added, “There’s something wrong with you!”
On AGT: Fantasy League, fans choose the acts, the judges build their teams
AGT: Fantasy League allows fans to nominate favorite AGT alums from a list. Forty acts will move on forward in the competition and advance to the drafting pool.
The judges will all choose from the pool of 40 acts until they each have 10 performers on their roster. The audience will vote every week to pick who moves forward, strengthening some judges’ rosters and weakening others.
The Golden Buzzer is also back, but with a twist. As always, it can send an act straight to the Finals, but judges can also use their buzzers to poach acts from another judge’s team.
Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum return for the new format. Sofia Vergara explained earlier that she has other things to do and will sit the season out but WILL return for the main AGT season in the summer. Former AGT judge Mel B. will take her place on the panel. Terry Crews returns to host.
