After winning the cash prize and a record contract with Universal Studios, Huntley took to social media to thank his fans. “I love you guys,” he wrote. “Thank you for believing in me. Going into this my only expectation was to go out there and create a moment. I’m trying to still wrap my head around all of this honestly and I’m just so grateful for not only this opportunity but the relationships and bonds I made along the way. Season 24 of the voice was definitely one for the history books. God is good.”

Huntley’s The Voice run started with a 4-chair turn

In his blind audition, Huntley earned four chair turns from the coaches with his powerful performance of the Black Crowes’ “She Talks to Angels.” He ultimately chose to join Team Niall Horan, where he and teammate Brailey Lenderman performed a duet of Hootie & the Blowfish’s “Hold My Hand” during the battle rounds. In the three way knockout he performed Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive.”

During the playoffs, Huntley did an emotional rendition of David Kushner’s “Daylight” to honor his daughter. Coach Niall chose him to join the Top 12. In the first live show where he performed “With a Little Help From My Friends” by the Beatles. Advancing to the semi-finals, Huntley joined Lila Ford and Mac Royals for a trio performance of “exile” by Taylor Swift featuring Bon Iver, and then sang “Way Down We Go” by KALEO.

For the finale, Huntley chose “Higher” by Creed as his uptempo number and “Another Love” by Tom Odell as a ballad selection.

Huntley’s presence on The Voice’s social media platforms this season accumulated 46.6 million views across The Voice pages on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.

What’s next for Huntley?

What’s next for Huntley? On the night of the finale he shared with Entertainment Tonight, “I think that my main concern is to take a step back and just breathe and just really take everything in,” he said. “This experience has taken half a year. I’ve spent six months away from my kids — my son is speaking in full sentences now. It’s insane.”

“But this has all been so worthwhile,” Huntley continued. “I just want my career. I’m so hungry for this… John [Legend] said he can see me singing in arenas around the world and that’s something I’m very hungry for. Y’all are not getting rid of me!”
