The Roots & Fifth Harmony Join Concert Line-Up for the ‘Nickelodeon Halo Awards’ Premiering Sunday, November 30 – Grammy Award-winning powerhouse hip hop group The Roots and pop sensation Fifth Harmony will join a stellar music lineup that includes Jessie J, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Echosmith and The Vamps for the Nickelodeon HALO Awards, premiering Sunday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT). Jam-packed with one-of-a-kind performances, the hour-long special celebrates five kids who are “Helping and Leading Others” (HALO) in their communities. The concert will be capped by a must-see, all-star finale led by The Roots. One Direction to Perform at Top Australian Music Awards – Looks like there’s no let up for One Direction as the band has confirmed it will perform at the ARIA Awards, Australia’s version of the Grammys. One Direction join local favorites 5 Seconds of Summer, Chet Faker, Hilltop Hoods, Justice Crew and Sheppard in performing at the ARIAs on Nov. 26. – The Hollywood Reporter

Bob Geldof Reportedly Planning Band Aid Single to Fight Ebola – Bob Geldof is reportedly considering releasing a fourth version of the charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?,” reported The Sun. The Boomtown Rats singer is reaching out to potential artists for a December release that would coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original song. The Sun is reporting that the fight against the Ebola epidemic in West Africa would be the primary motivation and beneficiary of any new single. – The Hollywood Reporter

Strictly Come Dancing beats X Factor by 2.3m viewers – Simon Cowell’s addition of a shock Halloween elimination twist could not reel in BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing, which surged to a record series lead over ITV’s The X Factor of more than 2 million viewers on Saturday. But both the BBC1 and ITV talent shows were down on last year’s ratings. The Halloween special of the celebrity dance show had 9.7 million viewers, a 43.9% share between 6.30pm and 8.15pm on Saturday, up from 9.4 million (42.8%) the previous week. – Read more at The Guardian
