‘Glee’ Plans Justin Bieber-Licious Boy Band
EXCLUSIVE: C’mon, who doesn’t think that Glee has become so crassly commercial that next thing it would do is start a boy band. Well, that’s about to become a reality in a big way with an episode featuring songs of that tween heartthrob Justin Bieber. This episode is supposed to air a few days into the Paramount release of Bieber’s 3D biopic Never Say Never. Despite some contradictory statements from Ryan Murphy yesterday, I’ve learned from insiders that the episode tentatively scheduled for February 15th will feature a storyline about this season’s new character, transfer student Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) deciding to start a boy band, and he’ll sing 3 Bieber songs on the show.

Two’s a crowd for Simon Cowell the uneasy rider on a quad bike
Perhaps a bicycle built for two was too much to hope for.
When Simon Cowell took Mezhgan Hussainy on a spin through St Barts, he preferred to go it alone.
If his bride-to-be had visions of snuggling up behind him riding pillion then she must have been disappointed.
The X Factor judge left Miss Hussainy, 37, trailing in his wake as they cruised around the streets on matching quad bikes.

‘Glee’ Justin Bieber episode? ‘I think people got a little ahead of themselves.’
“It was so crazy over the weekend, ” Falchuk tells Zap2it. “We’re not doing a Bieber tribute episode. It was never the idea to do a Bieber tribute episode. We went in and broke this story about Sam’s (Chord Overstreet) relationship with Quinn (Dianna Agron). He’s trying to juice that up and impress her, and he decides to sing to her … because that’s what people do on ‘Glee.’
“In his way of seeing the world, and his hair, Sam decides to do a Bieber song … and that’s really the extent of it. A lot of the other guys are sort of impressed by that, so they want to get involved. And that’s it.
“We do stuff like that all the time, for many different artists, ” Falchuk adds, “but if you’re a reporter and you put ‘Glee’ and ‘Bieber’ in your story, you’re going to get a lot of traffic. I think people got a little ahead of themselves. By the time the episode airs, this will have died down, but I think we’ve earned a certain level of trust with the audience that we’re not going to sell out just yet.”
