Siobhan Magnus hopes to ride ‘Idol’ fame to bigger successes
“I was talking about how I loved being in haunted houses and my favorite thing to be is an evil clown, because everyone is afraid of clowns, so you scare more people than anybody else, ” she says in a phone interview. “And so we were talking about that and the creepy circus music that would play. Michael started playing the intro on the keyboard, and he just started playing this waltz, this creepy circus waltz, and then he applied that to the chords of ‘Paint It, Black.’ We just looked at each other like ‘Ahhhh’ and got all excited. That feeling when you get excited and all your muscles squeeze up because it’s like ‘Yesss! It’s perfect.’ It was so right. Everything started falling into place and I got my outfit — the poofy little dress with the boots. Some weeks that happens, all the pieces just fit. That was one of them for me.”

Idols Camp out in Albany
Their styles are all so different. Their life stories are just as unique. But for the past two days, the American Idol finalists all made Albany their temporary home.
“Aaron is just the sweetest, most humble, ” said Kathy Bordon, an Idol fan.
“Katie- she is from Connecticut, she’s local we love her, ” said Jen Flinn, another fan.
The admiration was mutual in Albany tonight as the top ten met Capital Region voters.

‘American Idol’ auditions draw 16, 000+ singers
It’s not every day that you see Nashville’s Lower Broadway teeming with thousands of people just before sunrise, but that rare sight was on display at 5 a.m. Saturday, as thousands of would-be pop stars lined up outside Bridgestone Arena to audition for American Idol.
As the sun started to break over the honky-tonks, supervising producer Patrick Lynn stood on a ladder with a bullhorn in the middle of Broadway, instructing the crowd to chant “Nashville!” as cameras swooped overhead.
Lynn told reporters Saturday morning that the turnout was bigger than he’d expected, and estimated that “north of 15, 000” people had shown up for Nashville’s second-ever Idol audition. An Idol publicist later confirmed the final total as slightly more than 16, 000 people.

They’ve been photographed just relaxing on their Tahitian honeymoon – but newlyweds Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have also been taking in the French Polynesian sights. Especially underwater and by air.
“Carrie and Mike have enjoyed swimming and snorkeling with reef sharks, ” a source tells PEOPLE of the honeymooners. “They also toured the island via helicopter.”

First off, it has been a full week since I have been crowned! The reality is starting to sink in as I attend interviews, fill out paperwork, and get ready for an amazing year!
