Experts: Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey could quit ‘Idol’; vicious feud could be big problem for show – So can Minaj or Carey bow out of ‘Idol’ if the going gets too rough? “The short answer is yes. FOX will not be able to force either Minaj or Carey to stick with the program against their will,” Adli Law Group P.C. President Dariush Adli, Ph.D., Esq explained. “FOX may well, however, have recourse to suing them for damages that it will likely suffer as a result of their quitting, such as the cost of finding a replacement, the interruption in the program schedule, negative publicity, etc.” Carey is most likely to be able to quit without facing a court action by the network or production team, Adli said. – Read more at Fox News

Experts: Reality shows featuring fighting females harmful to the young girls who watch them – “American Idol” is just starting auditions, but we’ve already seen clips of a nasty girl-on-girl feud between judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. And when it comes to reality television, girls being mean to girls is basically the norm. Snooki and Angelina and Sammi and Jenni get their claws out regularly on “Jersey Shore.” Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards’s catfight continuously on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” And over on Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club,” well, as you can tell from its title, the fighting never stops. But while most of the girls getting down and dirty on TV are, at least age-wise, adults, many of these shows’ viewers are young girls. And experts say that’s a bad combination. – Read more at Fox News

Demi Lovato Covers Teen Vogue, Says She’s ‘Tired’ of Dubstep – She added, “I will say that I’m tired of all the dubstep that’s on the radio right now — I think it’s going to be out in two months. Britton and Panettiere go country for ‘Nashville’ – 8:49PM EST October 9. 2012 – LOS ANGELES — Hayden Panettiere’s outfit for this evening has been carefully laid out — just as a chart-topping country star would expect — on a mirrored cocktail table in her sleek purple and green living room. A short black dress is steamed and ready to go, with caged black sky-high sandals and a contrast clutch waiting beside it. All that’s missing is the microphone. But tonight, that dress is meant for Panettiere the TV actress, not the sassy superstar she plays in Nashville, the country-infused drama in which she and Connie Britton star.
