Don’t wanna miss a thing! Steven Tyler takes to the stage with a black eye the night after brutal shower fall

It takes more than a nasty knock to keep the Demon Of Screamin’ down, and last night Steven Tyler proved his resilience.

The 63-year-old took to the stage in Paraguay for a make-up concert to replace the one he missed the previous night due to a nasty shower fall.

Tyler has a black eye and had two new teeth implanted in the wake of the accident for which he was hospitalised, meaning that he had to cancel the original concert.

Steven Tyler: Hotel Fall Was an Accident, Not a Relapse

The Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge, 63, says he was battling food poisoning and began to feel nauseous in the shower. “I started to get sick, and I just fell on my face, ” he said. “I just passed out.”

His tour manager called the American Embassy and found the best hospital in the area. “It was like one-stop shopping, ” said Tyler. “They stitched up my eye. They did a little plastic surgery. And they fixed my tooth. All in one fell swoop.”

Cowell talks voting by social media on ‘X Factor’

Simon Cowell doesn’t use Twitter but he wants “X Factor” fans to use the site to vote for their favorite contestants.

The Fox show announced Tuesday that beginning Nov. 2, fans can cast a ballot by sending a direct message over Twitter to the official “X Factor” account. Viewers can also cast a ballot on the show’s Facebook page and its official website.

“It’s a sign of the times, ” said Cowell, who believes more votes will come in as a result of expanding the process.

Paula tells real ghost story

Paula Abdul says her former LA home was built on an ancient burial ground and is possessed by spooky spirits.

“It wasn’t just me, ” she told The Post after Tuesday’s first live broadcast of “The X Factor.”

“In my neighborhood, there were [other] people who experienced ghosts. The first time, I thought it was just me seeing white light. I would jump up and go, ‘What was that?’ ”

Abdul — who put the five-bedroom home up for sale in 2008 after a fan committed suicide in a car parked a few doors down — says the funky phantoms also put a scare in her housekeeper, Marina.

‘Dancing With the Stars” Ricki Lake Reveals Her Broadway Ambitions (Exclusive Video)

“I’ve never done a Broadway show, ” she says. “Maybe this will open some opportunities. I was supposed to do Cabaret a long time ago… but it would be a dream of mine to originate a role and do it on Broadway.”

With a stage adaptation and movie musical based on John Waters’ 1988 Hairspray, Lake’s breakout film, many actually think she was involved in the Broadway show.

She wasn’t. But she is a fan. Lake told the Hollywood Reporter backstage at this week’s show that she and partner Derek Hough even thought of dancing to “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from the show.

Glee Star Cory Monteith’s Rockin’ Extracurricular Activity

Monteith’s band Bonnie Dune performed before a crowded house at famed club The Roxy Sunday night. The 29-year-old actor, who was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, played the drums and also provided vocals for their 45-minute, 11-song set.

Monteith announced, “We’ve been in the studio recording another EP, which we’re really excited for you guys to hear.”
