Caleb Johnson to Sing National Anthem Tonight – American Idol winner Caleb Johnson will sing the national anthem prior to Friday’s Enka at Erwin football game. Jennifer Hudson In Talks for ‘Sex and the City 3’ – Two of the four Sex and the City leading ladies have already confirmed they’d do a third sequel — and now it looks like Louise from St. Louis may also be returning to the film franchise. Jennifer Hudson, who appeared in the first SATC movie as Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) personal assistant, told Dish Nation that she’s been approached about reprising her role. “Somebody just came to me talking about that,” the 33-year-old Oscar winner revealed. “So if it’s in the talks, it might happen. Bowersox calls Toledo home again for now – Crystal Bowersox is back and she’s bullish on Toledo. After a four-year odyssey in which she worked her way from the obscurity of the Toledo bar scene and busking the streets of Chicago to national fame on American Idol, Bowersox has moved back to northwest Ohio. “Some people know it and they see me bugging around town and say ’What are you doing here?’ ” she said in a telephone interview this week as she made her way to a show in Bloomington, Ill. Nikki Reed and ex-husband Paul McDonald reunite in NY for a worthy cause at The Pink Party – Nikki Reed announced the end of her marriage to Paul McDonald in May, but obviously still shares common goals with the musician. The Twilight star and McDonald got back together for a good cause – and on a friends-only basis – by attending Bloomingdale’s The Pink Party together on Thursday. Jordin Sparks Says Playing a Mother in New Movie “Left Behind” Was “Definitely Intense” – “They had sent it to me to read this specific part for this mother named Shasta,” Jordin tells ABC News Radio. “And I was like, ‘Well I’m not a mom.’ And then I was like, ‘Well, it would be really cool to be able to try and play that part, someone a bit little older.’ [But] I don’t have any kids, so I had to imagine who that was close to me….[how I’d feel] if they were just gone in a blink of an eye.” Jordin got into that zone by imagining if her beloved brother P.J. suddenly vanished. Maroon 5’s talked-about music video for “Animals” has an opponent in one sexual assault support group. The Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network (RAINN) has slammed the band for glorifying a stalker in their latest clip released Monday, Sept. 29. “Maroon 5’s video for ‘Animals’ is a dangerous depiction of a stalker’s fantasy,” RAINN says in a statement released by its Vice President of Communications, Katherine Hull Fliflet. “And no one should ever confuse the criminal act of stalking with romance. Details on One Direction’s Secret Financial Investment in 5 Seconds of Summer – According to multiple sources, 1D holds a financial stake in 5SOS. An Aug. 9 report in a U.K. paper was the first to make the connection, reporting that the five members of 1D, which also includes Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan, own a share of London-based company 5SOS LLP. Billboard has since confirmed that the registered partners listed for the company are the four members of 5SOS and One Mode Productions, whose directors include the five members of 1D in addition to Modest’s Griffiths and Will Bloomfield. According to the documents filed at London’s Companies House, the split allots for 120 shares: 1D holds 50 percent, and the managers hold the other 50. Looking at 5SOS music sales so far, for instance — 788,000 albums and EPs and 2.4 million song downloads sold, per Nielsen SoundScan — that would amount to $250,000 in earnings for Modest and 1D, or $25,000 added to each 1D member’s bank account, Billboard estimates.
