Interview: Kelly Clarkson Loves Country But ‘Will Always Make Pop Records’ – A little more than two years later, she returns with Piece By Piece, and songs for the dumped are not “top of mind” for her these days. She’s happily married, is a very proud mom, and is stepmom to her husband’s two children from a prior relationship. No longer the jilted girl, today she’s a family woman. Everyone’s happy to see her be happy; but how would that affect her music? Even she wondered about that a bit. “I thought I wouldn’t be as exciting, I guess,” she tells Radio.com. “But it’s gone the opposite way: I feel far more passionate and open and vulnerable and willing to do more things.” – More at Radio.com

I’m coming into my own.” Although Sparks dropped the S-bomb and sang about Derulo’s birthday suit on her ex-boyfriend’s song “Vertigo,” her fans were surprised to hear her get even edgier on a remix of Drake’s “How Bout Now” that appears on her #ByeFelicia mixtape released in December. There, she disses Derulo as she sings, “You don’t really f—- with me way back when, boy, how about now?/’Cause I’m up right now/And you suck right now.” – Watch the Video at Yahoo Music
