Big crowd full of high hopes gathers for American Idol auditions at ZooMontana – Justin Lebrun, 24, of Laurel has spent in the “high hundreds” of dollars traveling to Austin, Texas; Denver, Colo.; and Oklahoma City, Okla.; auditioning for producers, hoping to become the next American Idol. On Monday, Lebrun didn’t have to travel any farther than his own back yard of Billings for his big audition. It would be his fourth audition. American Idol videos: Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet visit Georgia– It wasn’t Leesburg, but it still seemed like “Home.” Season 11 “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips performed that song Sunday when the “Idol” tour stopped at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga. The show featured performances from last season’s top 10 contestants. I chatted with Phillip, as well as Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet, before the show. Phillip, who won the 11th season of “Idol,” hails from Leesburg, Ga. This was pretty much his closest thing to a “hometown show” on the “Idol” tour. At one point in the concert, fellow “Idol” contestant Colton Dixon said it was good to be in Phillip’s hometown. Bristol Palin’s Dancing With the Stars Goal Is to Not Gain Weight – “My goal [is] not to gain any weight,” the young mom recently told PEOPLE during the Television Critics Association summer tour in Beverly Hills. “I think it’s hurtful for any girl when someone’s criticizing their weight on a national level. It’s an awkward position.” Another goal? Palin plans to take the competition “as serious as I took it last time,” she says. “If I get voted off week one, then I get voted off week one. Glee’s Jane Lynch Dishes on “Mean and Petty” Guest Star Kate Hudson – “I hear she’s doing just great and I read the scripts and they’re hilarious,” Lynch told us at Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr in Hollywood . “She’s mean and petty and yet there’s a heart there too. She’s really good.”
Lynch added, “She gives Rachel a really hard time.” Lynch, who hosted Barr’s big roast, said she’d love for the outspoken comedienne to make a guest spot on the show. “I would love it if she were on Glee,” Lynch laughed. “I want to [be] bosom buddies with her.” – Read more at EOnline
