First up on this fine 2nd day of 2010, are some brand new club re-mixes from Adam Lambert and Blake Lewis, via DJ Taj’s Sound of Music blog.
I know many of you have been waiting for the remixes of Adam’s single, “For Your Entertainment”–DJ Taj has posted five, and you can find them right HERE.
Dj Escape & Johnny Vicious (tribal & pop remixes), Bimbo Jones, Nick Fonzerelli, and Brad Walsh all lend their dance-floor interpretations of Adam’ heady tune. FYE might not have been a hit on TV, but no doubt, it could become a huge club hit.
DJ Taj also reveals two new re-mixes of Blake Lewis‘ single, “Heartbreak on Vinyl” from Bimbo Jones and LA Riots. Check it out HERE. Blake has already hit the club charts with remixes of “How Many Words” and “Sad Song”–I’m looking forward to “Heartbreak” joining them.
For those of you waiting for high quality vids of Matt Giraud’s New Years Eve performances at the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game, Matt has posted the good stuff on his facebook page. Watch “Let’s Get it On” HERE, and “Great Balls of Fire” HERE. Nice job, Matt!
Also, expect a single from Matt soon–he announced via twitter, “So it’s the first day of the new year. What to do in 2010… Oh yeah, I have a single coming out on iTunes in February!! I’m excited!”
If you happen to be tooling around the radio dial this weekend, you might catch Kris Allen co-hosting Rick Dees weekly countdown show. The theme is the Biggest Hits of the Last 4 Years, and if you don’t catch it on radio, you can listen at Dees website HERE. If you’re looking for the super-condensed version (just Kris!), Thisistaks has an edited youtube version HERE.
