Idol this week is represented by Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips (one of his John Mayer concerts from last year), Season 5 9th place finisher Mandisa (opening for tobyMac) and Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery (in Florida). There is also Canadian Idol’s Hedley earning some major cash in Montreal.
X-Factor judge Demi Lovato tours with not one, not two, but three X-Factor contestants. Let’s see you try that, Blake! (LOL). Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and Cher Lloyd all open for her. Emblem3 also does a solo concert in LA (where they appear to be gathering a following).
The Sing-off has Pentatonix selling out as usual and the show itself having a tour stop in Michigan (how can the Sing-off tour, but the Voice cannot?).
