X-Factor meets the Voice in this concert report. We have just one concert to report from Brisbane. Anja Nissen, winner of the third-season of the Australian franchise of The Voice, opens for Olly Murs runner-up on the sixth season of the original UK version of X-Factor. Anja was on will.i.am’s team and is now signed to his label. Olly was on Simon’s team and is signed to his label.

In other news, somebody finally got close to Adele. She’s been compressing the charts forcing the rest of the spectrum below 0.250, but Chris Stapleton’s duet with Justin Timberlake is getting the kind of buzz that artists dream about. His “Tennessee Whiskey” is sitting at 0.650 (with 1 being Adele). JT also roared onto the charts with a 2 year old song. Chris’s album is no number one on iTunes – even some jazz singer with the same name is getting some traction.
The charts are getting exciting.
Carrie Underwood remains a strong second on the HDD’s building chart. Let’s see if she gets a surge from the CMAs.
