Kelly Clarkson invited her The Voice team member, season 17 winner Jake Hoot to perform his latest Christmas song on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The tune, “When Christmas Has Come and Gone,” is a collaboration with the Canadian a’cappella group The Tenors. Jake and The Tenors first made contact when the country singer performed their rendition of “Wintersong” with Kelly Clarkson live on The Voice.
“Thank you @kellyclarkson for ALWAYS being so kind and generous!” Jake wrote on Instagram. “Not only did you take the time to open a voice memo a few months back, that had a VERY ROUGH and unfinished song, but you took the time to listen to it and THEN asked us to perform it on The @kellyclarksonshow!” Jake continued, “Thank you for being a mentor, a collaborator, but more importantly, a friend!”
