Jennifer Hudson dropped by the Today show this morning to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston by performing the late singer’s 1988 hit, “One Moment In Time.”
“I’m a huge fan, and I just want to see her legacy being remembered and honored,” the American Idol season 3 alum said before the performance.
Whitney’s long-time producer, Clive Davis, was in the studio as well to talk about the release of Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances, a compilation of the singer’s greatest live performances, out today.
“It’s a concert from the time she was 19 until ‘The Oprah Show,’ 26 years later,” Clive said of Whitney Houston Live. “It shows she was the greatest singer of her generation.”
