On the heels of the official announcement of the new American Idol judges panel, Jennifer Lopez reveals to Ryan Seacrest on his radio program why she decided to return to the show.
“It was one of those things …it was so hard for me to leave the first time …[but] to be honest right now is the worst time for me to stop and do Idol! … I’m doing two movies and I have my album coming out, but I’m doing it because I want to. I love it!”
It’s not the rumored 17.5 million Idol is paying you, or the boost to your career the Idol exposure affords? How charitable of you, Jennifer.
The panel had dinner together, recently, and Jennifer said, ““it was like a lot of people taking little dives at each other … Harry’s a real joker and he’s really straightforward, but with that New Orleans charm.”
Ryan Seacrest says they’re bringing back F-U-N to the show. At first Jennifer didn’t understand what he was talking about. Ha. We’ll see if this panel can make us forget last year’s cluster-f*ck.
