Congratulations to Jeremy Rosado. The singer announced he recently signed a record deal with Capitol Christian Music Group.
The Voice and American Idol alum announced the news on social media Monday. “I signed a Major Label RECORD DEAL with Capitol Music/Capitol Christian Music Group!!!” Jeremy wrote excitedly in a caption, alongside photos from the signing. “Trying to write down what I feel right now!!! CAPITOL MUSIC, it’s gotta be a dream! I’ve fought, prayed, cried, believed, sacrificed, gave up, tried again for the past 10 years for a chance to be a full time Recording Artist and the time has finally come!!! Can’t believe this tbh!”
Jeremy went on to thank the people who helped him along the way, including his The Voice coach, Kelly Clarkson. Jeremy competed last fall on The Voice season 21. He left the competition at the Top 10, but had advanced to the finals from the live playoffs based on America’s Vote.
A decade passed between his stints on American Idol and The Voice
Previously, Jeremy competed on American Idol season 11 in 2012, finishing that competition in 13th place. As he mentioned in his post, it took another decade and a different television competition before his dreams finally came true.
“SOOO MANY People to thank!” Jeremy wrote. “Thank you to: My Family, my parents, my daughter, my friends for supporting me all these years, sacrificing time and so much more to help make this dream a reality!”
“My Team at First Company Management, Derek, Brandi, Mike, Dave, Wes and everyone there, thank you for believing before I had a deal and jumping on board with me, working everyday to make this happen!” Jeremy has a lot of folks to thank! “My lawyer Aaron Rice, you’ve fought for me since day 1, grateful is an understatement, none of this would be, without you! Love you Rizzle!”
Jeremy thanks Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande for their advice
Jeremy thanks his coach Kelly and fellow coach, Ariana Grande. “@kellyclarkson and @arianagrande thank you both for speaking so much into me in this season, giving me tips, advice, coaching me thru this process of meeting with Labels and supporting me!” He continued, “I love you both so much, it means the world to me!”
“@nbcthevoice changed my life, thank you NBC, my exec @brittanymartinporter my casting producer @gavrees and everyone at the show for believing and giving me a shot!”
The singer looks forward to working with the team at Capitol. “To my new Team at Capitol: Brad, Hudson, and EJ, Garrett, especially Josh Bailey, without you this wouldn’t have happened, thank you for believing in me, and thank you to the whole the staff, thank you for your belief and desire to help me make the best music I can, that will spread the love of God throughout the world!”
Jeremy set to tour with The Newsboys
And of course, Jeremy thanks his fans. “Team Jeremy, without you and your support on The Voice and after the show ended, this wouldn’t have happened, I love you with all of me! JESUS!!! Lord you have far surpassed anything I could hope or imagine, such a gracious God, I don’t deserve this but you call me worthy and I will give the rest of my life to tell people about you!”
“Can’t wait for you hear my music on Christian Radio across the country,” Jeremy wrote. “And to see you on Tour very soon! I’m so grateful!”
Previously, Jeremy announced that he would be hitting the road with Capitol Christian Music label mates The Newsboys. The tour begins October 6 in Champaign, Illinois.
