Last night (April 9) Joshua Ledet had the honor of singing in front of the President and First Family as part of the PBS Memphis Soul special. The American Idol season 11 alum, performed an electrifying version of Percy Sledge’s “When A Man Loves A Woman.” Host, Queen Latifa, introduced the singer.

Joshua also performed “Soul Man” with the legendary Sam Moore! Booker T. Jones, Justin Timberlake, Alabama Shakes and Mavis Staples also took the stage.
The special, honoring the music greats who came out of the Tennessee town, will air on PBS on April 16.
