Josiah Leming Gets Ready to Release His Album

Season 7 Idol, Josiah Leming is getting ready to release his long-awaited album on Warner Brothers records.  In the meantime, he’ s releasing a song and photo a week on his My Space.

  • Check out Josiah’s  new song “Maybe” on his My Space HERE.

For those of you who need a refresher: Josiah was the 18 yr old Season 7 contestant who lived in his car and cried a lot.  He kinda had a meltdown in Hollywood, and in the end was not chosen for the Top 24, despite showing great promise in his audition (he performed an original song) and initially in Hollywood (check out his version of Mika’s “Grace Kelly”)

Josiah was signed by Warner Bros records in 2008, but the release date for his album has been delayed and delayed, causing some to speculate that there’s been trouble behind the scenes.  Certainly, that stubborn streak Josiah exhibited in Hollywood could cause problems with the label suits, no?

In the meantime, Josiah has released two very good EPs,   Angels Undercover and Punk Ass Rain.  And now, finally, Josiah reveals there’s a release date for the album.  He can’t get specific yet, but promises it will be very soon.  Yay.

The new song?  Me likes.  Josiah, at his best, writes from his heart and soul, all wrapped up in a memorable melody. This is good stuff.  I’m really looking forward to that new album.
