Katy Perry and Darius Rucker joined forces for an acoustic performance of “Only Love” at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov 22). Check out the full list of WINNERS HERE.
Katy and the Hootie and the Blowfish frontman and country star sat in an intimate space as they sang the song from the American Idol judge’s recent album Smile. It was her first live performance since the August birth of her daughter Daisy. Darius played guitar while the two duetted.
Currently, Katy is filming judges auditions for the 2021 season of American Idol, set to premiere on ABC, February 14. The cast, including Katy, fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, and host Ryan Seacrest have been filming at locations in California including San Diego and Ojai.
