Katy Perry is very close to having her first child, a baby girl with fiancé Orlando Bloom. In a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson, fellow American Idol judge Luke Bryan hinted that Katy is VERY close to her due date!
Because the singer is about ready to pop, she gave her fans a peak at the baby’s nursery during a scheduled Sunday night Livestream. “I’m going to show you my baby room. Ready? Just a little. Just a little sneak peek!” Katy teased. “I have some little clothes on the wall, and then I have like, a little pink room,” she said.

Actually, the tour was pretty complete. She showed off the nursery’s lights, changing station and crib. At one point she displayed a cute onesie with Bloom’s face printed on it.

Katy revealed her pregnancy back in March, a month after announcing her engagement to Bloom. At the time, she was also in the midst of sitting on the American Idol judges panel, alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. Katy has yet to confirm a return to the Idol judges table. As a new mom, Katy will have to put her baby first. We’ll see if she signs on for another season.

The child will be Katy’s first and Bloom’s second. The actor shares a 9-year-old son, Flynn, from his previous marriage to model Miranda Kerr. The couple planned to get married this summer, but the COVID-19 pandemic changed plans.
In the meantime, Katy is promoting her upcoming new album, Smile (due out August 28).
