Kellie Pickler and Black River Entertainment have parted ways, reports Music Row.
“She will always be a part of our Black River family. We wish her all the best and are looking forward to watching her continued success in all of her endeavors,” Black River said in a statement.
The American Idol season 5 singer signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/BNA Records shortly after the season ended in 2006. She released a debut single, “Red High Heels” and landed a Top 10 country hit with “Best Days of Your Life.”
Kellie and BNA split in 2012, but didn’t stay unsigned for long. By October of that year, she had a deal with Black River Entertainment, after which she released The Woman I Am in 2013. The single “Someone Somewhere Tonight” came out during her run on Dancing with The Stars 16. By the end of the year, she and her pro-partner, Derek Hough took home the mirror ball trophy.
Even without a record deal, Kellie has plenty on her plate. She is set to join Faith Hill as a co-host for a daytime talk show produced by Legendary Television, according to an announcement late last year. Additionally, she and her husband Kyle Jacobs are currently starring in the popular CMT reality show titled I Love Kellie Pickler.
