Kelly Clarkson and country singer Brett Eldredge recorded a cheery Christmas duet, “Under the Mistletoe.” But as recording duets usually proceed, the two recorded their parts separately.
And because of the pandemic, it took a minute or two for the singers to actually meet! But the singers finally got together on the American Idol OG winner’s afternoon talker, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Check out Kelly and Brett talk about recording and performing the song during a pandemic. Kelly is very bummed that the two can’t hug.
Since the two “met” and performed the song for the first time (Kelly tapes her show days ahead of time), Kelly and Brett have performed the song on The Voice, where Kelly serves as coach. The singers also sang “Under The Mistletoe” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
