Written by Audra Mae, Mitch Allan, Kara Dioguardi and Jason Evigan, “Heartbeat Song” is the first single off of the American Idol alum’s upcoming album, due out later this year.
Kelly also hinted that she collaborated on the album with singer/songwriter, Sia (Chandelier). No target date for the record yet, but Kelly revealed that she’ll be touring this summer.
Also Kelly has been hinting at another cut on the album, a duet with a male she has yet to identify. She has described the song as “…so kind of out of the box for both of us, but kind of in our lanes.” The mystery male crooner is “an amazing singer…everyone loves him!”
