Congratulations to Laine Hardy. The 18 year old native won American Idol Sunday (May 19). Cut last season right before the Top 24, the rootsy country singer returned this season and managed to win it all.
Alejandro Aranda, the inventive singer songwriter from Pomona California came in second place, while the big voice 17 year old high school student, Madison VanDenburg came in third.
