Watch Laith Al-Saadi’s official music video for his self-penned The Voice original song, “Morning Light.” The Michigan based blues musician was encouraged by his coach Adam Levine to play guitar. The contestant’s impressive musical skills helped make him a fan favorite, despite the fact he’s not a typical competition reality show star.
The video was shot in Chinatown, in an atmospheric basement studio that looks both homey and old school. Laith not only sings on his studio tracks, but he lays down lead guitar parts as well.
On Tuesday, The Voice winner will be crowned from among the Final Four contestants. No matter what happens to Laith, he comes off the with a higher profile, enabling him to spread blues music to even more potential fans.
